Secondary Program

Primary Ballet, Beginning Jazz, Beginning Tap

and Prep Ballet & Jazz

At the center of our Secondary Program is the Primary Ballet level. This class stands as an introduction to classical ballet training as it focuses on center floor and barre technique, body alignment, repetitive movement and muscle memory, and musicality skills.

Students in the Secondary Program are also welcome to take classes in other styles of dance, such as Beginning Jazz and Beginning Tap. Beginning Jazz focuses on sharp, quick, and stylized jazz movement and technique. Beginning Tap includes technical and rhythmic tap training. These classes are taken in combination with Primary Ballet. One stand-alone class is $75 per month; combination classes are $136 per month as it is considered two classes. These classes are available for ages 7 to 10 and are limited to 10-12 students each.

Prep Ballet & Jazz constitutes an accelerated, two-year segment of the Secondary Program and is by invitation only for students 7 to 10 years old. Students taking ballet who demonstrate dedication, ability to apply instruction to their movement, and technical skill are offered a place in the Prep Program annually. Additionally, Prep Ballet & Jazz are accompanied by a Stretch & Strength class to help facilitate their flexibility and muscle development.

Single classes are $75 per month and combination classes are $136 per month. Prices for additional classes per month are outlined on our schedule breakdown.
