New Stretch and Strength Class Sign Ups
SMDC parents, please sign you child up for 3 Stretch and Strength classes below. Classes will be offered January 30th - March 20th.
"Class A" - Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:15pm
or
"Class B" - Wednesday 6:30 - 7:15pm
Classes will require a supplemental payment of $5 per class.
Optional 30 Minute Private Lessons
Miss Anneliese will also be offering optional private lessons during our 8-week S&S session. This is a great opportunity for your child to work independently with Miss Anneliese and they can spend time focusing on elements like their turns and jumps.

PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT PROCESS & FALL ENROLLMENT
All students must sign-up for a 30-minute time slot on one of the assessment dates. A $50 deposit is required to reserve an enrollment spot in the fall.
Assessments will consist of ballet barre and center combinations as well as across the floor work in ballet and jazz. Students MUST:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to the audition time slot to check-in and stretch.

Wear only a black leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes.

Have hair pulled back into a clean and secure bun.
Students who wish to audition for Hip Hop Crew must ALSO sign up for a Crew Audition time slot.
Note: Students auditioning for Crew who have never taken ballet before, do NOT need to sign-up for a ballet/jazz time slot too. Instead, there will be a couple of ballet combinations given at the end of their Crew audition to assess their technique class placement.
Students who participate in the Class Placement Assessment Process will NOT need to participate in Online Priority or Open Enrollment for the Fall Session. Since they will have already paid a $50 deposit prior to the assessment, we will manually place your child in the appropriate class(es).
Students will be notified of their child’s placement classes via email on Monday, August 20. If you are unable to commit to the classes assigned for your child, you MUST notify us by Friday, August 24th and we will refund your deposit. There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations after August 24th.
