Ballet Levels 1 & 2, Jazz Levels 1 & 2, Tap Levels 1 & 2,
Hip Hop Levels 1 & 2 and Lyrical 1
Our Ensemble Program comprises classes for students ages 10 and up and includes a variety of genres. Ballet levels 1 and 2 are at the heart of this program, and they focus on classical center floor and barre technique, flexibility and musicality, and body alignment and control. At least two years of ballet are required before taking either of these classes; or, new students may take a trial Ballet 1 class and a formal assessment will be given by the teacher regarding level placement.
Other classes, such as Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Lyrical are also offered and can be taken in combination with Ballet or as stand-alone classes. Initially, students should take the class level that coincides with their Ballet level (1 or 2). However, if students demonstrate alternate ability, their teacher will provide an assessment regarding their Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop or Lyrical placement. Jazz 1 and Jazz 2 focus on developing a strong technical foundation, emphasizes flexibility and strength, and develops progressing rhythmic movement. Tap 1 and Tap 2 classes provide training in progressing tap combinations, technique, and rhythmic footwork. Hip Hop 1 and Hip Hop 2 classes include training in stylized footwork, muscle control, and movement that contains the hip hop techniques of popping, locking, and breaking. Lyrical requires at least two years of ballet and/or jazz to participate.
Single classes are $75 per month, while combination classes are $136 per month. Monthly tuition for additional classes are broken down on our studio schedule. Classes are limited to 10-12 students each.
